What the heck?! Only two reviews? Ok, so it's ONE block away from the busiest streets. But it's very authentic. Real Japanese people serving real Japanese food. Not gaijin (like me) pretending. Fast, simple, reasonable, clean, professional. What more do you want? Go there and add a review, ok - they deserve it.

Came with a friend for lunch on a Saturday and was surprised it wasn't busy, perhaps because it's more hidden on a side street. I had the fried shrimp bento box and he had the karage bento box. They came with the same accompaniments of rice, miso soup, potato, eggplant, radish, and a green vegetable (bite-sized portions of each). All the ingredients seemed clean and fresh, and dishes made delicately. The meal was delicious, although slightly pricey at €19 (my stomach had room for more).

Probably one of the best Japanese options in Paris. Original. NOT a sushi bar, but delicious, umami packed, small " Japanese tapas " in a trendy setting, washed down with sake, wine or Japanese craft beers. Delightful staff.
